Welcome! Class of April 2024

On April 10th, a sense of excitement and anticipation filled the air as students from all four campuses of Meko Japanese Language School gathered for the Class of 2024 orientation ceremony. This event marked the beginning of a new chapter in their academic journey, filled with promise, potential, and endless possibilities.

Amidst the backdrop of eager faces and buzzing chatter, the ceremony welcomed honored guests from prestigious universities, as well as four student representatives who delivered motivational speeches that left a lasting impact. 

Among them stood Daniel Weitzman, a standout representative from the Shinjuku campus whose exceptional verbal skills impressed the audience.

Daniel's decision to join Meko Japanese Language School was driven by a desire to immerse himself in an intensive Japanese language program. 

"To achieve the kind of mastery I’m seeking, a proper classroom, with helpful teachers and supportive schoolmates, is necessary," Daniel said. "I doubt any two of us are here for the exact same reason. But we are all here together, and we all share the short-term goal of academic success here. Learning is a never-ending journey, but for this leg of it, our individual paths have crossed."

Daniel's words resonated deeply, encapsulating the shared determination and sense of purpose that binds the Meko community together. In this ceremony, we witnessed not only the aspirations of our students but also the unwavering dedication of our teachers and staff.
