First Episode of Meko Talks! 

We invited our student, Laura Putane, to share her experience as a language student in Tokyo.

Laura joined us in April 2024 as a beginner-level student. Before enrolling in our language school, she was studying at Yamanashi Gakuin University. After nearly a year at YGU, Laura realized that her Japanese language skills wouldn’t improve as much as she hoped with courses taught in English. Additionally, the lifestyle in Yamanashi was quite different from living in a major city, leaving her feeling a bit trapped and unable to explore Japan as she had planned.

Transferring from a university to a language school was not an easy decision, and the application process was challenging. However, Laura was determined, and we’re thrilled to have her with us now.
