Get Together before the Holidays~

As the semester wound down, Meko students gathered for a heartwarming Secret Santa Christmas Party—a perfect way to wrap up the year before heading into winter break. The event was full of festive cheer, complete with milk tea, pizza, and plenty of snacks to fuel the fun. 

The Secret Santa gift exchange was the highlight of the evening, with students sharing thoughtful and creative presents. Excitement and laughter filled the room as students unwrapped their surprises and discovered who their secret Santas were.

Adding to the excitement was a raffle for a grand prize of 20,000 JPY in cash, reserved for those who brought gifts for the exchange. The anticipation built throughout the night, culminating in cheers as one lucky student took home the prize.

Beyond the gifts and prizes, the party was a meaningful way to bring the Meko community together before the winter break. Students shared holiday plans, from traveling home to exploring Japan’s winter wonders locally. Our Christmas party was a great way to celebrate not just the season but also the many friendships made throughout the year.

Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 7th. Until then, we wish everyone a joyful and safe holiday season!
