On March 14th, Meko Japanese Language School proudly celebrated the graduation of approximately 450 students across our four campuses. This special occasion marked not only the culmination of their hard work but also the beginning of their next steps—whether at top universities in Japan or in their professional careers.
Recognizing Outstanding Students
As part of Meko’s commitment to supporting dedicated students, we awarded scholarships to those who excelled in their studies:
Our students, Scott and Daniel, were awarded scholarships for successfully achieving JLPT N3 and N2 proficiency, receiving ¥10,000 and ¥50,000, respectively.
Two students achieved full marks on the EJU exam and received ¥100,000 scholarships.
Other students received scholarships in recognition of their perfect attendance and top university acceptance.
Meko Students at Japan’s Top Universities
Meko students continue to make a significant impact at some of Japan’s most prestigious universities. This year, our graduates secured spots at The University of Tokyo, Waseda University, Kyushu University, Keio University, Hosei University and many others.
Notably:
14 of the 22 international students accepted into The University of Tokyo this year were from Meko.
9 of the 20 international students accepted into Kyoto University’s Engineering Department were Meko graduates.
These results highlight Meko’s dedication to preparing students for success at Japan’s best universities.
A Milestone Graduation with New Scholarships
This was the first graduation since Meko implemented its updated scholarship program, which rewards students who achieve high JLPT scores, gain admission to top universities, and maintain outstanding attendance records. As one of Japan’s oldest and most respected Japanese language schools, Meko continues to support ambitious students in achieving their goals—whether in academia or the workforce.
To our newest Meko graduates, we wish you great success in all your future endeavors.
