This week marks the start of a new school year at Meko, and what an exciting week it’s been! With our entrance ceremony, orientation, and placement test now complete, our students are ready to begin their first few days of class and dive into their Japanese studies.

Excitement is high around campus as new students settle into life in Japan. With new classes and self-introductions underway, a world of new opportunities begins to unfold. For many, this is the beginning of a life-changing journey—not only in the classroom but in the vibrant, day-to-day experiences of living in Tokyo.

As part of their first week, our students also had a chance to explore the neighborhood of Takadanobaba, getting to know the area around campus and even catching a glimpse of the season’s cherry blossoms.
