To kick off the July semester and escape the summer heat, our students took a well-deserved break from the classroom and headed to Tokyo Sea Life Park! This special outing gave our new and returning students a chance to relax, explore, and connect with one another while also practicing their Japanese outside of the classroom.

Since this trip took place during the first week of class for our newest students, it provided them with the perfect opportunity to meet classmates who have been studying at Meko for longer. This field trip was also a great reminder of how exciting Tokyo life is and how rewarding it is to use Japanese outside of the classroom.

We’re so proud to see our students being adventurous, supportive, and open to new experiences. With our summer field trip behind us, we’re already looking forward to planning the next adventure for our students.
