2026-04-17

The April 2026 school year officially kicked off yesterday with our orientation ceremony, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our students.

Our newest students, coming from countries all around the world, are now beginning their Japanese language learning journeys here in Tokyo. For many, this is not only the start of their studies, but also the start of a new life in Japan.

Over the next two years, we will work closely with each student as they prepare for their long-term goals. Some will be working toward admission to universities or vocational schools, while others will be preparing to enter the workforce in Tokyo and beyond. Throughout their time at Meko, students will receive ongoing support—from regular interviews and guidance through application processes to building the confidence needed to succeed in Japanese.

This year, we are proud to support over 400 students across our four campuses. During the ceremony, Diego, a student representative from our Shinyo Campus, took the stage to share words of encouragement with his fellow classmates as they begin this journey together.

We are excited to watch our students grow, achieve their goals, and build their futures in Japan over the coming years.
